Get your mobile phone provider to 'unlock' your iPhone so you can take advantage of the lowest priced deals from AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Spectrum, Cricket, Metro, and various other phone networks worldwide...

Have you seen some of the competing deals going on in the mobile phone industry?
And more to come thank goodness. And surprisingly, more competition is coming from new players -- some regional cable tv companies like Spectrum have entered the mobile phone network space by offering extremely low monthly prices.
Compared to the major networks that can charge $70 for one line, or $195 for 3 iPhone lines, companies like Spectrum offers its current cable tv customers an extremely low monthly fee of only $29.99 per line, so 3 lines is only $90 a month -- total, including taxes.
Nowadays the major carriers advertise that they offer "new iPhones for free!" -- but there's a catch... you must sign a two year contract.
Because now each month you're "credited" on a pro rated rate, the $1,200 you would have paid for the iPhone... Why do they do that? To keep you from leaving... if you try to pay off the iPhone early and leave for another network, then you lose the "free" discount and you'll have to pay the normal price for the iPhone device before you're released... So yes, they offer you "free" iPhones, but only if you commit to 2 years at a fixed high monthly rate.
But when people try to leave for a deal like Spectrum Mobile offers, and they want to bring over their same phone number from Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T iPhone, then it first must be an "unlocked" iPhone.

But once that glorious day comes and your iPhone gets paid off, then you can have it 'unlocked' so it will work on ANY carrier ANY time. Including international. You just pop in a different SIM card and watch it adapt.
Don't know if your iPhone is already unlocked?
Make sure you have downloaded the latest software update from Apple... Since updating iOS 14, Apple lets you check the status of your iPhone being unlocked or not.
Go to Settings icon (the 'circle gears'), tap General... then > About... then scroll down to >Carrier Lock.
If you see 'No SIM Restrictions' on this line, then congratulations your iPhone is unlocked and free to roam the world. If you see SIM locked, however, then you still have some phone payments to make before your iPhone is fully paid off.
But what if your iPhone is paid up, and yet still not unlocked? They won't do it unless you request it... you'll need to contact your mobile carrier to request an unlock. They will text you a numeric code that will restart the iPhone and unlock it in minutes. No need to go into a crowded mobile phone store.
And just think what you can do with the thousands of dollars you save -- you can invest it wisely in the stock market and multiply it even more...

Another thing -- don't forget to take your same phone number with you when you switch carriers. Its called "Porting"... just bring the account number, grab an old phone bill or call your former carrier to get the 9-digit account number.
Your new mobile carrier will transfer your number no prob. And you'll start saving money immediately.
Congratulations on your freedom! You're unlocked!
